Amanda Reimer BMR (PT), Certified in Acupuncture

Amanda graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2009 from the School of Medical Rehabilitation with a bachelor's degree in physiotherapy.  Since completing her undergraduate degree Amanda has obtained her acupuncture certification in 2012 from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada and the level one certification of the CPA's Diploma of Advanced Orthopedic Manual and Manipulative Exams. Prior to founding ARMP, Amanda worked at the Victoria General Hospital in acute medical, surgical, intensive care, and emergency units.      
 


Sandra Bhatti, BSc (MPT)

Sandra graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2018 with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. Since then, she has worked in a private practice setting which gave her the opportunity to treat a variety of conditions and injuries across different age groups. Sandra has completed her certificate in Acupuncture, her first manual therapy levels and also has an interest in rehabilitation for cancer patients. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as going for walks, skating, or playing Bocce ball with her family.




Laura Cowtun, MPT, BA KIN

Laura graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Masters of Physiotherapy in 2015. Since graduating she has worked in both public and private practice and is excited to be offering physiotherapy services at Amanda Reimer Physiotherapy. Laura has a kind and charismatic demeanor and specializes in working with a wide variety of populations. Her practice has included a special interest in working with people with chronic respiratory disease, stroke and brain injury rehabilitation and those with dementia. She is certified in acupuncture and dry needling, and has furthered her education in areas such as the Bobath Concept, the Mckenzie Method and neurological rehabilitation. In the future she is looking forward to obtaining certification as a Respiratory Educator. In her spare time, she enjoys running, cycling, and spending time with family and friends.



Monica Arnuco MPT, BPHE

Monica graduated from the University of Winnipeg in 2020 with a Bachelor’s in Physical Health and Education. She found interest in the human body, exercise, and the rehabilitation process within health care. This led her to pursuing her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Manitoba, graduating in 2022. As a Physiotherapist, Monica is driven to assist others in order to reach their goals and support their path to recovery. Monica continues to keep up to date with evidenced based practices and is interested in ongoing education to improve her skills and knowledge. Monica enjoys travelling, working out, and spending time with her family and friends.
